Is discovery paid?
No. Discovery, two or three meetings and a look at your current system, is free; at the end you have a written scope, timeline and price.
How quickly do we get a quote?
Within three business days of your request we come back either with a quote or with a few questions to sharpen the scope.
How is pricing done?
We work in three models: fixed price for clearly scoped work, a monthly team for work whose scope evolves, and maintenance and on-call for live systems. On fixed-scope work, payments follow milestones.
Do you sign an NDA?
Yes. If you need one, we sign it as the first step, before you share details. Our sample is on the agreements page.
Who owns the source code?
The economic rights to the source code written specifically for your project transfer to you once the full fee is paid.
Do you ask for prepayment to prepare a quote?
No. We do not ask for any prepayment for discovery or for preparing a quote.
